Huasai Palms
Palms (Euterpe precatoria) are thought to be the most common tree in the entire Amazon Rainforest. They are commonly found it the parts of the forest that are flooded. The trees are usually about 20 meters tall. Theyve adapted to grow in the flooded waters.

Cocoa Tree
The Cocoa Tree (Theobroma cacao) are plants commonly used for medicine. The tree is also used to make chocolate, which is enjoyed by people everywhere. Aztecs once used Cocoa beans as currency. Tiny flies pollinate their flowers.

Kapok Tree
The Kapok Tree (Ceiba pentrandra) grow to 70 meters high. The larger branches often are covered in thorns. Kapok fiber is buoyant and water resistant. It also is very flammable. These large trees are home to many rainforest animals.

Orchids
Sapodilla
The Sapodilla tree (Manilkara zapota) can grow to be over 30 meters tall. They produce fruit that looks like a canteloupe. The tree is adapted to be wind resistant from the latex bark.
